  • Grammar lesson needed

I want to add a ticker with a birthday reference. Would I say:

    ...days until the dudes' birthday
    or
    ...days until the dudes' birthdays

...since they were born on the same day?

Pretty sure it is birthday. It is just the one day.

I think it could really be either.

Yes, it is just birthday. If it were your two sons who were born on different days, it would be birthdays.

True, same day...but Also two birthdays.

Only problem now is when you add it to your ticker, everyone will constantly think about this over and over.

I'm guessing either would have flown w/o much comment. Although Nellie did sneak in and fix my spelling on my siggy once - but only b/c she didn't want me to embarass myself.

That's okay someone pointed out to me that I had neurosurgery mis-spelled for who knows how long in my ticker!

Haha! Cheri, I remember that. I saw it and I thought to myself, she spells neurosurgery just fine in other places, it must be a joke I'm not getting.
