  • Creative/ Cheap Xmas Presents

I know that people talked about donating and it's a great idea that I have done before but I am thinking something for my DH and my parents and sister that would be meaningful, semi cheap and different. What do all of you get for family and friends? Thanks!!

Some other cheap and easy gifts I have gotten in the past have been: Brew your own Beer kits, Framed photographs taken by me, a scrapbook of my life with my dad for Father's Day, Manicure gift certificates (cheap and a welcome relaxation for any woman!), Philosophy bubble bath, and party games like Taboo, Scattergories, etc. - those are always a hit!!!

I love gift-buying... Can you tell?

I love that hamper idea Lily it would be a really nice thing to receive. I'll definitely think about doing something like that for people I will see over the holidays.

The tough thing is when you live a long way from your loved ones and will not get to see them. Online shopping is easy but it always seems impersonal.

Am always on the lookout for ideas that are nice and cheap and not heavy to mail!!

One year as an extremely poor student I made really nice gingerbread cookies and got some pretty ribbon and gave them to people as gifts.

Also lady, if you are any good with a camera you can make nice gifts for people. Either artsy photos in simple cheap frames. Or collages of people/places.
My brother gives photographs every year, but then he is extremely talented. I can only dream about being artistic :|
