So... counting down until the military separation? Has the DW started looking at civilian practices? Most of our peeps starting looking about a year out.

Are you guys heading back to the midwest?

Well, there is no official countdown, but there is a number that we are thinking of...

She has started getting her CV put together, it is tough. Her office lost a ped to time done, moved one to Alaska...so they are down to three. She is pulling lots of extra "duties" from them as well. It is pretty intense these days, so not a lot of time for shopping the market.
Her official time out is Oct 08, but with carried leave, she could be done mid/late July. We will see about that- with new folks coming in and the changing of rules and such, who really knows. Did I mention that they have a new rule now in the Peds office, if a Col/Gen or any of those people request that their kid be seen, any available doc is to push back other appointments to see those kids? That also comes with a personal escort from/to the parking lot from an enlisted person.
As far as where we will end up, it is somewhat in the air. Yes, we will be back to the midwest, just not sure where. She has good connections in Kansas City, but she brought home a flier the other day for a ped spot 40 minutes from Minn/St.Paul- I am guessing it is St. Cloud, as there was another job posting that had very similar wording! We could end up being the new crazy neighbors of Kris!

Along with all this, also comes the extra prep that selling our house will take. I am not looking forward to that..
