Caroline's boyfriend (Alex) is in OCS at Fort Knox and will graduate in August. I want to send him a "care package" but have no idea what to put in it. Any suggestions? I'll plan on a budget of approx. $100.

Re: Care Package Suggestions
Phone cards, junk food (things he can't get there), pictures. a deck of cards or two. He'll have access to the PX when he's not in school so he won't be too deprived.
(the enlisted guys refer to OCS as 'knife and fork school' because they supposedly learn 'manners' befitting an Officer)

Re: Care Package Suggestions
I used to send DH "care" packages when we were long-distance while he was in med school, and he always liked it when I put stuff like magazines in it. Maybe some magazines, quick-read books, things like that?~Jane
