My husband shaved his head...

and his excuse is that he will have to shave his head for OBC in San Antonio this summer, anyway. Is this true??? He's Army- and I know that they have requirements for haircuts, but I didn't think that shaving one's head was the standard haircut for officers... I hope not, because he has the most gorgeous hair I have ever seen. This is something he goes through each year which I think has to do with spring fever. He wants to shave his head- but this is the first year he actually did it...

Does anyone have any input as to the requirements for haircuts?

I also want to be clear that I don't have anything against shaved heads in general, I just prefer it when my husband has some hair on his head...

My husband goes through the shaved head thing too but has never done it. I'm so used to hearing it now that he doesn't get much of a response when he says it.
I guess the good thing about hair is that it grows!

nope, shaved head is NOT a requirement, especially for OBC which will be much later this summer. (Like it could all grow back by then!) Although, my husband says he will be more comfortable here in SA in the summer with minimal hair. My husband typically keeps his in a crew cut but didn't through medical school. His hair is much shorter now than it was when we met.

At least your husband is excited!
