  • QUESTION

Hi everyone-it's been a while since I posted, but I have another question. My husband is recently disabled and can't work, so he is a stay-at-home dad(2 kids). If I join the military is there any spousal support for my family while i am away?

You will receive pay according to the number of dependents you have, where you live and what you are doing for the military. By join the military, do you mean enlist or do you mean go through the military medical programs?

      question

I mean enlist-I am mainly concerned about my family not being able to keep up with utilities and groceries since I will not be bringing home a paycheck every week anymore.

The military is paid twice a month the 15th and the last day of the month. All military paychecks are direct deposited into whatever account you specify. Any recruiter should be able to tell you exactly what you would be making.
