My husband is really interested in gonig into neurosurgery. Actually, it is all he can talk about and he is thoroughly excited about the possibility of going into neurosurgery. Since he is in the Air Force, we were wondering about the chances of him being able to geta residency in neurosurgery. I am not really sure how all of that stuff works to be honest. I know that he would probably try to get a civilian residency on deferal. Does anyone know anything about the Air Force and neurosurgery. Does the Air Force need neurosurgeons, is it in demand, or is it highly unlikely to get a residency in neurosurgery? Any info would be helpful!
