    government research????

It sounds to me like there is not a retention problem because they do not want to retain people. One also wonders why in a billion page article they do not cite stats on retention of each speciality- I think I know why. In addition, one of the recs was to better document physcian retention- which begs the question- how did they study it if they do not document retention. anyway- it interesting alright- j

That is pretty much what I thought, too. Both articles were (I thought) a typical example of a gov't study......go to great lengths to find out that you don't have enough information to answer your objective, but go ahead and publish the results anyway.....
