    Hitting a little closer to home

    Well, finally we have a friend who is going to Iraq. One of my husband's med school buddies is finishing his psych residency, and will then be sent to 29 Palms in preparation for going to Iraq. (He's Navy) We have had people that we knew go, but not any of our social circle.

    I am glad that the military has realized that they need to increase the psych support of the troops though. The neurology suite is inundated with the guys that the psych ward can't handle due to overload. One of the many as yet unreported casualties of war....
