Wow. If someone has time to go back and audit moving records from 20 years ago, then someone should have time to fix all of your pay problems a whole lot faster! Yikes!

I mean it would be one thing if it was easy to figure out the pay, and then you realize it is too much or little, and say something. But it sounds like it is next to impossible to figure out just how much you should be getting paid, forget about whether it is the correct amount. What a nightmare!

Jenn, has your pay situation been straightened out yet? And isn't this going on...at least a year? Or two??

Our situation has been going on since Rick was admitted to USUHS. Yep, that's four years of medical school, three years of peds residency and now going on three years of fellowship. He stopped fighting is what happened. However, the payroll people at Walter Reed agreed that he was owed the back pay- it's apparently gotten stalled at the Finance office. (or more than likely, lost or ignored.)

So, since he has no time to deal with this, and is going to be up at Hopkins for the entire month of November, he's going to give me power of attorney and I'll go fight the good fight. (he's kind of afraid of that though.)

We'll see. Rep. McKeon in California was able to provide us with the Leave and Earning statements from his time in the National Guard which I think should be more than enough proof that he served his 'one day' more than the original four years of enlisted time.

      PS- sorry to hijack Matt!
