call for help on SDN

in the "spouses and partners" forum on SDN is the following (just added today):

I'm starting medical school this fall. What can I do to make this entire thing easier for my husband? I'd like to hear from medstudent spouses of what things to do and not to do.

yeah ... SDNers don't generally like us. Someone that sensitive is likely to be eaten alive on that site anyway ...

Tell her, or them, or whoever will listen for that matter that strength comes from within. There is nothing one can say or do that will help, only hinder. The FEW men I know doing this have their own strength, only way I see it possible.
