Countdown to Fellowship!

I can hardly believe the end of residency is right around the corner! It's definitely been a long 5 years. In exactly 14 days from today, my DH will be starting his fellowship.

Here's to starting a new chapter!

My husband JUST did his oral boards one week ago today. It's hard to believe that 5 years of residency is over. I keep feeling the urge to tell him to go and study when he's sitting watching television. He worked his final shift as a resident last night. Holidays for 2 weeks and then Fellowship begins.

It is a long five years, that for us, in retrospect, seems to have flown by.

Oh wow!! Thank you so much! Congrats on the final shift of residency! It's great that you have 2 weeks before starting Fellowship. My husband and I took our first "real" vacation in 5 years. It was so nice to just be able to relax without having some test to study for! Are you having to move, or were you able to stay in the same area? We were super lucky to be close enough to the Fellowship program that we don't have to move this time.
