So we went to a Super Bowl party last night at one of the other residents' homes. There are so few of us without kids, not that they didn't invite people with kids but none came. There were four couples there, we had a good time though one couple is from Canada and I don't think they're familiar with the concept that the commercials are the best part , they talked through most of them. But it was fun. They talked about work for a total of about five minutes, it was SO nice. However I think it also made DH realize that he needs to get some hobbies. I've never heard him so quiet during a social function and I think it truly was because the talk wasn't about work he had very little to contribute. It was an interesting dynamic.
