We are back from our VERY relaxing weekend of R&R, it was FABULOUS! We drove up to Two Harbors, MN on Thursday and had a very yummy dinner at the lodge's restaurant, Ledge Rock Grill. We stayed at the Larsmont Cottages, great little six unit cottages on the shore of Lake Superior. We had a very nice one bedroom suite with a lake view and a jetted tub. Luckily it snowed most of Thursday evening and night so there was a fresh inch or so of snow for Friday.

Friday we went to Goosebury State Park and snowshoe-d the Gimmi Gichie Trail, beautiful views of the lake and we saw several deer and a bald eagle. I'll post the link when I upload the pictures. Friday night we had dinner at Nokomi's http://www.nokomisonthelake.com/ also very good.

Saturday we relaxed at the lodge, slept in, had lunch at the Ledge Rock Grill and then enjoyed the hot tub and the sauna. Then we went to dinner at Flynn's home - beautiful home and beautiful family. We had a great time.

Today we drove home in time for the KU game and are now watching them beat Kentucky. Sweet 16 here we come!
