So we've crunched all the numbers and I WILL be retired by next June - woo hoo! I'll take my 12 weeks of paid maternity leave and then turn in my notice. If this is our cycle it will be March, if not then hopefully soon after. Maybe I'll just retire if there's no baby by June. It's really perfect timing b/c DH is on research July '08 - June '10 so he'll have more of an 8-5 schedule and will be able to take time out to do things with the little one and I. I feel like I can do my job knowing that its one more year, one more back to school, one more Christmas. Of course I'm still interviewing for the other job on Thursday.
