Everyone has always said my priorities would shift when I had kids. She's not even out yet and yesterday's events have hit me in a way the other three shootings this year didn't. Maybe its because we own that mall, maybe its because I know several of the management team at that location and the other Omaha mall we own. Maybe its because I hear stories of the parents running with their children to safety on what should have been a happy holiday shopping trip. I don't know, just something for me to think about and more stress to add to my emotions during this new, strange, and difficult time for me.
