Crappy days in DH's residency come every once in a while. And when I say crappy I mean by hours, they almost never come in succession. Tuesday & Wednesday were the first two days that he left before Adele got up and got home after she went to bed. He was crushed. His chairman, who has six kids, and is married to a neurologist also made a comment to him this week about making sure he makes time for his family and that his kids will grow up faster then you think. Now I really think we're at a family friendly program but I was surprised by that comment. DH says when the chair gets tired and busy he really lets his guard down and talks a lot in the OR. I still thought it was an interesting comment. Anyway, DH is off Friday - Sunday. We have no big plans but we're going to enjoy his first Father's Day.Tags: None
