So I told DH to go to this conference and make some contacts so that we'd have some job options in 2012. I have talked to him twice, last night and the night before and he's come back with 2 locations. Oy vey! Both are like "I don't know where we'll be in 2012 with our plans but definitely keep us in mind."

One is a program which has 3 alumni from his program and they want to start a residency program. The other is an established medical school that is building a program that will link clinicians with CI's like UCSF does but when I look at their website I don't see that they have a NSG residency program and I wonder if DH realizes that.

But two long shots are better then none - here we go

  As I expected he had no idea the 2nd location didn't have a residency program. That pretty much kills it for him. He had beers with his fellowship doc for 2-3 hours last night so I'm interested to see what he had to say about possibilities/jobs.
