    I LOVE Francesca! Really love it! It's not a name that you hear that often! There is an ice cream parlor named "Francesca's" in my hometown - it's very chic! My grandmother's name is Frances - kinda close - and everyone calls her "Frannie." Love it!

          Friends of mine have a little girl named Francesca and she's called Frankie. They are Jewish and in the Jewish faith you don't name children after living relatives. They take the first initial of a relative (not a living relative, obviously) and name the child using the initial. Frankie is named after Ray's uncle whoes name was Fred or something.

            Friends of mine have a little girl named Francesca and she's called Frankie. They are Jewish and in the Jewish faith you don't name children after living relatives.
