Jenn-
I hope everything is better today! Did you get a diagnosis?
I hope you slept and poor Nickolai is feeling more chipper. There is nothing worse than a really sick little kid. Worry city. (I had one myself for a few months and I'm still scarred!!)
Big hugs and best wishesAngie

No- no results yet. The initial bloodwork looked fine but the throat culture and the urine haven't been read yet. The urine has another 24 hours to sit before that one will be read. The throat culture should be read today. My friend is on-call at the AF hospital NICU today so she'll check later. She just called to give me that much information.

and it's strep.
At least we know what it is and the mammoth antibiotics will kill anything in their path. (my friend thinks they went a little overboard in the anti-biotic they used.)
Jenn
thanks for the kind thoughts and words. and yes, the pecker area is still all red and inflammed and spotty.
