Kevin, to answer your question, the private schools want us to of course continue paying tuition to keep them "enrolled"...but their schoolwork in Germany will count. Like I said, we may have to take some math with us.
The public school would have us not enroll until we get back....and we'd be officially enrolled over in germany.....They'd want Alex to keep in touch each week with his new class though.
When I was in the 8th grade, my family spent 3 1/2 weeks in Central and South America. The schools were willing to work with my family and I was given assignments to complete while I was on the road.
