I love you Angie! Our kids are pretty quiet too. They actually ask me to turn *down* the music in the car. [/quote]

    CUTE!

My brother and I were very quiet kids. My parents used to have to beg us to speak up when they videotaped us.

We used to ask my mom to turn down her music too. She blasts the music when she's cleaning. And in the car too.

An electric guitar and a drum set? I love it.

I'm ok with kid noise (most of the time) but it is the electronic-y noise that gets me. I'm more quiet like your quiet kids. I need to turn down the radio or ask my kids to be quiet to think sometimes. My brain can only process so much at once.

Tara, if you get an purple battery operated keyboard in the mail...no givebacks.

I put up with electronic noises for learning machines-- like the Leaf Frog Globe. The kids love that, and they play the games on it endlessly, even tho' they set it at too high of a level (like find the capital of Kazakhistan-- which they are supposed to locate somehow)-- so I hear the music over and question over and over and over. But they are learning something, and so I put up with it and try to set it to the right level (like find the Pacific Ocean).

I can't stand keyboards either. Or the really shrill fire truck sirens.

I have regretted toys or regretted not buying two of one toy that the kids are fighting over.
