    Her name is Julia, who didn't walk until 16 months, and will probably be our most athletic child. Mostly because she seems to have no fear or hesitation...

      Ayla also cruised. She was very very cautious. I always said she was too smart to walk. Then one day she stood up on her own and the next day she walked.

        If she's cruising, try to put a fun toy on one piece of furniture (like a chair or ottoman), and a different, but equally exciting toy on a piece of furniture that is far enough away that she'll have to take one step. Once she can do that, start moving the furniture further and further away. Sometimes, you have to trick them into walking.

          My little one took 3 steps at 13 months and not another one for 3 months.. then one day she just started walking..
