      Same with Whitney and Ashley.

To the original topic, I had a friend in college who was "Adolf [last name starting with an H]". It was a 6th generation name and he plans to name his son that if he has one. He's like, I've gotten some flack for it but it honors my family and heritage which existed long before that jerk ruined the name. I thought it was a fresh perspective and could respect that even if it wouldn't be mg first choice.

I wouldn't change it, if it were me. I hated being part of the name fad growing up. Three out of four of our girls names have been used for boys.
