    Suwannee,

I feel like you've described my older daughter! Has it gotten any better with your DD? What has worked for you so far? The novelty of being a big sister for my DD wore off very quickly, and there is lots of screaming, throwing, and hitting going on in our house. We've tried everything, too, but not much has worked. I'm REALLY hoping you'll tell me that things have gotten much better because I want my funny, sweet little girl back!!

We have gotten somewhat sorted out but I am not sure if I have any sage advice. I try to give her tons of attention, include her in nursing, changing the baby, getting her dressed, playing with her etc. She pats her on the back with me while I burp her, she gets a wipe and helps scrub her hiney when I do, etc. I also let her kiss and hug the baby all the time, with only gentle reprimands if she gets rough. Then when DH gets home he gives her lots of special attention too. I dont know how old your little ones are, but I think the biggest thing that has happened is that DD1 doesnt remember DD2 not being here.
