Totally normal. And based on having one child in daycare at that age and one not, that doesn't make a difference.

My oldest in particular went through the "scream with daddy" phase too. It was a little hard at times for him to be *so* rejected. She more than made up for it later and I got my turn to be treated like chopped liver.
