        NO WAY!
I kid you not! A couple of times a well-meaning onlooker has felt the need to come up and explain to me why the kid is so upset as if I didn't already know.
when schmucks like that ask me in a store why one of my kids is throwing a fit...i say, "because she is two (or he is three)!!! then I just roll my eyes and walk away. like i have patience for that crap when my kid is screaming bloody effing murder. yeah, give em some candy....that is what makes it all better.

Thanks for the stories and understanding. Yes, like I don't know my own kid. You have to trust me on this, the kid is having tanturms over nothing. He can express himself very well, but demanding ice cream for dinner and not getting it is not a good reason to flip out imo. Nor is my not finding the marble he lost, not holding him while making dinner, and not giving him the blue seat instead of his black one. I had been doing the walk away method for a while. He kept escalating the level of tantrums. I certainly appreciated that everyone here pretty much said the same thing about putting him in his room. Unfortunately he just escalated things more. So last night I took some stuffed animals and we had a puppet show. You know, I understand now why police and psychologists use puppets to talk to kids. Dh really responded and the puppets had a good talk with him about screaming, anger and hitting. Who knows if it will work. I am actually goin got carry one of the puppets with me today and pull it out if he starts a tantrum.

And SAJenn, it must be the russian in my boys then, because they are skinny little guys who can eat like crazy.

Just in case anyone was wondering...no, the puppet strategy did not work. But we are talking about it now.

            I'm going into bribery mode.

Sorry if I come off as crabby on this one. A screaming kid can do that to me.

Yesterday, at my kids dance class, I was reading a parenting magazine that they had there. I saw this quote and I thought of you...

"The only thing stronger than a mothers love, is a mother guilt."

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. My kids just take two days a week...so I am forced to read magazines a few hours a week. Did I give the impression that I taught dance?

Not sure how I thought it, maybe somewhere where you wrote about some mom from the class being harassed or treated badly? Anyways, yeah, I understand how it is waiting outside of the classes. I just thought you were teaching it.
