This is perfectly fine. This is what I meant by cover/blanket. You are covered up and I can't imagine how anyone would object to this. The awkward dinner party boob that I mentioned before was very suddenly lifted out through the neckline of a low-cut blouse, completely exposed, and shoved into the babe's mouth while we all sat at the dinner table. There was no attempt at discretion of any kind.

IMO if covering works best, then cover, but if not covering works best, then don't. You should be able to do what's best for your nursing relationship, not what's best for bystanders or passersby. :huh: It's too bad our society can't look at breasts or some side boob without getting all uncomfortable and taking it sexually.

Cassy, thank you for saying this. This is exactly how I feel. It was really bugging me, but I couldn't find the right [unpassionate, unheated, nice] words to respond.

The funny thing is a lot of men AND women pay to see boobs....so shouldn't they be happy if they get a free show I just wish we were as tolerant as in Europe...c'est la vie!
