    Re: Someone call...

We usually confine Moxie to the kitchen when we are not home -- this has had mixed results because (1) when she was younger she used to escape and (2) she sometimes finds something to destroy in the kitchen. But it usually works. We use the crate when we travel because it makes her feel safe. We also use the crate at home for "time out" when she is being obnoxious. She has occassional temper tantrums and when she gets into a state, she starts barking her head off and it's impossible to make her listen. So we put her in the crate until she's calmed herself.

We're springer people too! I wouldn't have any other dog. They're energetic but so so happy and wonderful.

Baker is the third we've had from the same line (the mom and grandmom live with my Dad). He's a lover and very energetic.

Unfortunately our girls are crated more than they aren't....they play *extremely* rough together....and don't tire out....at least we haven't made their limit yet (>6 hours). They both are good with Daegan now, but definitely not trustworthy...Pula is too rough and Tui is too snippy. They do like their crates a lot though and always have. It does make traveling with them sooo much easier too.
