So, Sophie is still sick. Tomorrow I will be making an appt for her to go to the clinic because she just doesn't seem to be getting better. The best part is that I am supposed to take the kids to see E this weekend. I told him tonight that there is a good chance that we won't be able to come because Sophie just isn't well enough. His question... Will I still bring C down to see him? It is a 3-1/2 hr drive each way (minimum - not accounting for rest stops or delays of any kind).

Let me see. I don't have anyone to take care of Sophie while I drive him down to see you. And even if I did, I have spent the whole week away from her when she has been sick, there is no way in hades that I will leave her for the weekend. He is in dire need of a head-from-assectomy.

Jen - I would love to but E had the DUI in January and can't drive.

I'm sorry that Sophie still isn't feeling well.
I have no ideas for how to make a visit work... I hope E comes to his senses and realizes that it just isn't a good weekend to cart the kids around.

Crystal - my idea, but hey - he obviously doesn't give two shits... I told him we weren't coming. As of this AM S was still running a low-grade fever.

Poor S, I hope she is on the mend soon - poor poor baby girl! And as always, I hope C isn't too disappointed. <<hugs coming your way>>

She is actually feeling much better. The fever was gone for at least a bit tonight and she finally seemed happy. All week she whined/moaned because of the discomfort. She hit her head with her hands, pulled at her ears, held her head all because it hurt so much. It was heart-breaking. Tonight she was playful and didn't whine much at all.

So sorry ur little one is in pain & all. Sounds horrible! I think ur dh is just going to have to do without a visit unless he wants to take a bus up to visit. Not fun but definitely an option if he's that desperate for a visit.
