We've always fed him what we eat and he usually ate it. However, things have gone a lot more smoothly since we introduced the pancakes. Today he happily ate fruits at breakfast and lunch before his pancakes. We are making progress. I also talked to his teachers. They got him to take a late afternoon mini-nap on Friday and he was a totally different kid. We were even able to go out for ice cream after dinner. Yesterday, BabyK and I got stuck at the BRU store for an hour when DrK got called in unexpectedly. BabyK was so good that at least a dozen other parents told my how amazing he was. Even the dads were stopping us so they could get a higjh five from BabyK.

When someone comments about how well behaved my children are, I quickly shush them and say, "Don't wake the karma Gods!" My kids are both angels and demons rolled in one. Let's not tempt the fates, you know?

I always respond to people's comments about how well-behaved my kids are by saying, "Yeah, well, just wait ... "

I usually say, 'well, he is RIGHT NOW.'

Oh, I usually kvell and give him extra praise for being so good. I know he can be a monster - these days he's a pancake-eating monster - but he deserves an atta boy when he behaves.
