I did! I am out of town. Dd is doing great with my parents. Eating every now and so often even! Not a lot, but taking a bite or two at every meal!

That is awesome news Alison! It probably both thrills and crushes? Hopefully Grandma can get M to eat a variety of foods and later you can work on increasing quantity!

Yay! I hope this helps break her pattern, so she eats better when she comes home!

The funniest part is that I developed a reward system for when I force dd to take her meds. I'd simply hold her down, force her jaw open, cram in the pill, hold the jaw shut, and keep my eyes closed through the crying... And then I'd give dd a star from a sheet of stickers. She'd struggle and cry every time, and the sticker would kind of sort of help distract her from the relentless crying.

My mom reported that she opens her mouth and picks out a sticker for herself as if she's been doing this for years.

            What the heck?!

I'm honestly thrilled for dd that she's getting the break from me that she needs. She's doing very well!

I'm glad that you aren't hurt by the fact that M is cooperating with grandma instead of you. To me, this points to behavioral issues, but I would still push the peds GI appt issue. *hugs*

Well, she's still vomiting at least once/day, so we have to get to the bottom of that. My hunch is that we need to get a new treatment plan for her reflux, but I'd like to rule out a gluten intolerance, celiac disease, that sort of thing.

I hope she acts the same way with me as she has with my parents! She gets away with murder with them, which I think is relaxing for her.

Somehow I missed that she was still puking. It could be either - her stomach is so shrunken from not eating that more than a bite or two probably fills her up more that she can tolerate. Or it could be the ultimate toddler control issue. Who knows. Kids are crazy making!
