Frozen waffles sound really good. (To me)

Cold foods also seemed to help (yogurt specifically)- but obviously not for a 3 month old. We've also never had a problem w/ 1) preventative dosing and 2) alternating meds.

I agree. Tylenol does scare me, so I'm careful to not give dd too much by writing down the time of each dose that I give her. That was more the case when she was younger and weighed less, but I do give her some at night when I sense that she's teething. She has never been bothered much by teeth coming in, although I think the Tylenol helped her to sleep better at night when they were erupting.

We do frozen bagels. A trick DH learned in the emergency department from one of the nurses. It works great!

Thank you guys for your input! We're doing okay today, although there's a new mixed bag of things happening at our house right now. At least I've got one thing I kinda sorta know what I'm doing about.

Oh god, I can totally see someone like my brother accidentally going into the freezer and eating a breast milk popsicle without knowing what it is....

LOL!!! That is why we used very identifiable baby-looking popsicles. My brother might do the same thing! These only hold an oz or so http://www.amazon.com/Annabel-Karmel...ef=pd_sim_hg_2

We definitely do preventative doses of Motrin! Whenever DS is teething, he gets a dose every 6-8 hours, regardless of whether he's crying when it's time. He is an awful teether, and if we miss a dose, he is absolutely miserable!

O started teething around 4 months & we used baby tylenol but shortly transitioned to baby oragel. Worked like a charm!

Ava-Marie just cut her first tooth. Unfortunately we have no idea how she reacts to teething because it coincided with a nasty virus that she had with high fever for 4 days....
