wowsers! can i hire this lady here??

We had *some* luck with the "happiest baby on the block" book. Biggest thing was the 24 outlook on sleep that it teaches. Good luck with the teething -- my 13 mo is working on one here too!

We flew her from CA to CO to help us out...and she sent us out for a date the first night while she worked through the hardest steps. I tell her daily that she saved my sanity, my marriage, and gave my daughter the gift of sleep. I also continually tell her that she needs to start a business because these skills are in HIGH demand. She adapted the techniques in the "Goodnight, sleep tight" book for my dd's developmental needs.

ETA: Teething sucks...we have the world's slowest teether. 2 weeks/tooth...16 months and she has 3-4 on top, 2 on bottom.

If you're looking to hire a sleep consultant, I'd definitely recommend Nicole Johnson at The Baby Sleep Site. She has an initial consultation package that is $115 (looks like it's on sale now for $98). She will take your child's sleep history, including what you've tried and sleep logs if she needs them, and she also follows your parenting philosophy (ok with cry-it-out, some cry, or no cry). Then she creates a customized plan for what to do next and how to proceed after making initial progress. Here's the link to the part of the site with prices: http://www.babysleepsite.com/baby-to...ting-services/

Meh, another rough night last night, but night before last was pretty nice. Only one wake up around 3:00, and it was less than 5 minutes. I'm not expecting much until he's done making those teeth...
