I would consider A a pre-walker. She stands a lot and walks around the couch or with you if she is holding on. When do I need to get her shoes? Do I wait until she's actually walking or is it better to get her used to them?

Before they walked, my boys mostly wore socks or went barefoot. Once walking, I got the first walking shoes by pedipeds for K1 and the first walking shoes from striderite for K1 (wider feet didn't fit in pedipeds). They still wear just socks at home to minimize roughhousing injuries.Wife and #1 Fan of Attending Adult & Geriatric Psychiatrist.
