I'm not sure if this should be in this area or in school age as O is sort of in between being in preschool. Anyhow O wants a birthday party. His birthday is in about two weeks. He has never had one and really wants one. The problem is we are new here and basically know no one. I know of one friend at his school so far. I don't have the list of kids in his class (he's in a 4's preschool class) however I know I wouldn't want to invite 24+ kids to a party either. Any ideas brain trust?

Has he said that he wants a "friend" party? Would he be cool with a family one that has decorations and games? -
At that age, if there was cake, balloons, and presents, my kids thought it was a party. Maybe that will do it?-Deb

Good idea. He hasn't said that he wants a kid party per say but the only birthday parties we have been to or read about in books have been kid parties. I'll see what dh thinks.
