Kai is 4.5y and still only eats a handful of things. But he's my stockiest kid, so I let him be for now and just introduce what I can. But he eats pancakes, waffles, my homemade chocolate chip muffins, yogurt, cheese, bananas (and a few other fruits), crackers, bread, sauce pizza (no cheese), quesadillas, French fries and pasta with chocolate sauce. Other than that, it's just dessert foods. No meat what so ever. And no beans.

And he was my only kid to eat jarred baby food.....he used to eat a ton of it too.

Phedre nursed almost exclusively for 18 months....with just a small amount of food. I had to cut down the nursing to get her to eat. Now she eats any and everything (she'll be 3 in August).

So if Sophie was difficult to potty train, then what is my karmic reward? Kiddo is still a mediocre sleeper at best, so that isn't it.

There's a book? I thought there was just a motto: no grape soda in the bottle

I have to hijack. Last time we went to the ped, the 18 months old behind us walked in with his own bottle of Diet Dr Pepper and bag of M&Ms in hand. You can't imagine the looks of horror from my 5 and 7 year old, but I did manage to keep them from saying anything about it until we got home. If you feed your kids that stuff in the pediatrician's office, what do they get at home?

I'm late but DS1 would only eat purees if they were made with breastmilk. Totally annoying to pump but if all else fails it may be worth a shot.
