How'd it go? Did you put any Benadryl and whiskey in her bottle?

I had a glass of wine before bed, but we decided to forgo the sleep aides for H this time Well, she's "still" sleeping (or she's lying in the PnP awake - but she's silent and I need to shower!). Overall, I think it was successful - much more than I anticipated

We fed her dinner at about 6:45, then she hung out with DH while I put A to bed. I put her in a "sleep sack" over her jammies for warmth, gave her a bottle, sang "Rockabye Baby", and put her in the PnP. She cried (like actually crying) for less than 30 minutes. She'd then quiet down for a few and then velociraptored for a few, etc. That went on for about an hour past the initial crying (A cried for a full 75 minutes her first night). Then the kicking started When she's playing, she kicks her feet so loudly that it sounds like someone is throwing a basketball against the house. It's her "I'm bored" signal. That went on for another 30 minutes or so (and drove me nuts - we don't even have a clock in our room because the ticking bothers me!). But, she slept/didn't disturb me for about 5 solid hours after that (DH had been asleep after the initial crying stopped).

She woke up around 3:45, I have her another bottle, and put her back down. Besides the kicking, nothing. DH's alarm went off at 6, which caused some squawks, but she was silent again pretty quickly after he left.

Fingers crossed that this is the beginning of something and not just a fluke! I can't tell you how much we appreciate your support, suggestions, and commiseration!

No, but hopefully it is enough to take the edge off.

My patience is a little better CIO - nap time edition is not going so well. Girlfriend's pissed in there. Maybe she'll be more tired tonight, then???

Also, I think her reflux is currently well controlled - I give her her second dose at about 6pm, and that seems to be the right timing with dinner and sleep. Lack of nap yesterday meant that it was too hard to wait for me to put her sister to bed:

She then woke up at 9:30 and 10:30, but the. Slept until 4, got a bottle and slept until 8! Keep it up, girl!

my older one had issues with keeping the milk down. non spitup baby formula works ok (heavier rice/soy formula). a combination of non spitup formula and me holding her in 45/60 degree angle while i slept did wonders for me. however the same combination did not work on the 2nd one. #2 was per torture until she was 2+ yrs
