What are the chances it's from something other than teething, like an allergy or a virus? She has had strawberries the last few days, and I'm really worried about an allergy.

Dry her chin off, put a barrier on it and see how it does.

It's possible - so hard to tell. It's kind of on her belly , randomly all over, and her legs. They look like really small red bumps. They don't seem to bother her. Keep in mind, strawberries are really high in histamine (so are mangos and tomatoes). Kids can get rashy from them without it really being a food allergy. Rashes are tricky.

Aquaphor is pretty awesome for clearing up rashes around drooly spots. My daughter used to get these and we'd slather her and it would be gone in a few days. It's pricey though.Angie

The rash is all over now, so I'm pretty sure it's not just from drool. Still keeping an eye on it.

Food allergies usually don't take days to spread, most tend to range from immediate to 2 hrs. Of course there are exceptions. Could it be a sensitivity to a sunscreen/lotion/detergent/soap?Wife to PGY4 & Mother of 3.Comment

We haven't changed soaps or anything. Her temp was 100.7 just now. Why does she always get fevers when hubby isn't with us?
