        I just saw this thread for some reason! I hope Brynn is ok and the three weeks goes by quickly. Tyler had a tibal sprial fracture this past August. We are still getting bills. I think we had two casts, four dr visits, five x-rays and a lot of bills. Her break happened on a Saturday. Waterproof casts are the best!

          i wouldn't have considered a broken arm poor-ED use! that's pretty much what it's for, isn't it?? i get that such things aren't covered at the same level unless you're admitted ... but seems like a broken arm is THE reason to go ED.

            That isn't our portion of the bill. I don't know what our ED copay is. I think we have a $400 pp deductible? I'll find out soon enough!

                Poor kid, she had the puking bug. Knock on wood, it seems short-lived. We are doing the plastic bag on the arm shower tonight though that does nothing for the arm smell (not too bad yet). Phoebe, I can't imagine that many casts on a leg and smaller kid! My heart goes out to you!
