    Angie, your post confirms my suspicions and I will fight the urge to put my fingers in my ears and "la, la, la".

    I don't expect a private junior high to be free of kids going through jerknose phases. My biggest concern right now is the size of the middle school and ease of getting "lost" and the lack of different levels of classes and then the social stuff on top of that. I think middle school is an appropriate time for different levels of math and english. My thoughts about high school are more theoretical at this point but probably more about academics.

    And in the meantime, my 2 yo is about to make my ears bleed.

        Yeah, turns out she had 4 molars coming in. (I'm embarrassed how long it took me to figure that one out.) Now she is back to her raccoon like antics which keep me in the present moment and gives me a break from worrying about school options.
