    The silver lining is that maybe this will make the move seem more acceptable? She certainly is resilient and now she will be able to see h.s. social drama/crap for what it is.

      Yes- she's ready to conquer California lol. She has said she's ready to move. I'm sure it will be hard when the time comes, but she really is good at making new friends and she is so brave when she enters a new scene. She basically knew no one first day of middle school-- and first day of high school she only knew 3 or so people from her middle school (she went to a magnet middle school then her home high school). She can adapt, but it still is hard...

          Peggy, you have done a fine job!! I can only hope my girls have that level of confidence and security someday!! Kudos to her for not letting that kind of drama get to her. AWESOME KID!!!
