Yes... We are approaching 4 weeks now.

She is getting exhausted. She's an introvert, but is "on" all the time. If she came home today, she'd just sleep. For hours and hours. Recharge, reset herself, come eat dinner with the fam, then go back and sleep.

That's what concerns me--- what a big change for a girl who always, from infancy, has needed at least 2 hours a day completely alone.

I'm actually getting ready to send the kid a care package.

She's quickly discovered that shit is expensive and when you compromise for cheap, it's usually cheap for a reason.

We're all big coffee drinkers. Kiddo bought the biggest coffee container she could find that was cheapest. She discovered why mom doesn't buy shitty coffee. She was most bummed that she wasted money on coffee she probably won't use. I'm sending her a bean grinder and some of the good local beans in this first package along with a few other little things that I know she'll like.

I have sent her stuff through amazon--- I'll ask her about the coffee. I stocked her up on tea before dropping her off... She drinks coffee black like I do, so yeah the beans and grind are really important. I bought some 100% kona coffee for myself yesterday-- $20 for a pound at Costco! Really way more expensive than I usually buy. The packer said, "you know you can grind that coffee here." I was just... Aghast. I said, "oh that's ok. I'll just use my grinder."
