We are shoes off. But I am not sure it matters, our floors still get so dirty. We put off white carpet in our bedroom when we moved in 2 yrs ago, and no one ever wears shoes on that carpet. But there are still some stains and signs of wear.

I keep a box of baby wipes by the door and the dogs get their paws cleaned when they come in from a walk or from romping around in the yard. It keeps the carpet and floors significantly more clean.

We were a shoes off family until I got Plantar Faciitis. I have to wear shoes all the time, DS wants to also. The baby wears shoes because if he doen't he pulls his socks off.
