Re: Vacuum Advice!
I looked online at the smaller Dysons - but they carry the same crazy sticker price as the "Animal" that I have! The handheld is cheaper, but I'm looking for something to do my wood floors on a daily basis - I'm not going to be bending over to do that. I looked at the Miele stick vacuum. It's about the same price as my Roomba - $20 cheaper, actually - and could be stored in the 1st floor closet. I'd only use it for the wood floors - but that's been my goal all along. It comes w/that 7 year warranty, too, which makes me more comfortable -- stick vacs I've seen in the past have been USELESS.
I've got to say that as much fun (I'm pathetic) as I think the Roomba is - it just doesn't do the job I need it to. I don't know if our 1st floor is too big (it's not broken up into multiple rooms) to figure out a true pattern for the room, or if our dog hair problem is just to severe for it, but I'm not thrilled. For $289, I think I should be thrilled.
Has anyone tried a Miele stick vacuum?
