There is a storage room in our basement that we have never used for some reason, I dont know why. It is currently home to several million spider webs. It is close to our den area. I am really worried if I de-spider it then our den will become spider central. I am not sure what to do or how to do it. One thing I love about living in the North is NO ROACHES!! But that doesnt mean I want spiders everywhere and crawling on my kids!

The exterminator is a good idea. I call them for major infestations of any creepy crawly. For us it is usually massive anthills.
Alternately, de-spider and then put a few cats down in the den. They'll be entertained for days...and you won't have any spiders left.Angie
