  • Entering the spider room

There is a storage room in our basement that we have never used for some reason, I dont know why. It is currently home to several million spider webs. It is close to our den area. I am really worried if I de-spider it then our den will become spider central. I am not sure what to do or how to do it. One thing I love about living in the North is NO ROACHES!! But that doesnt mean I want spiders everywhere and crawling on my kids!

I'd be scared that if you don't de-spider it the population will grow and expand out of their current kingdom... ick ick ick (I am not a great fan of spiders).

Yikes! That's scary! I *hate* spiders!!!

I would call an exterminator. It would be worth the cost to me to have an experienced person make a plan for getting rid of them and preventing them from relocating.

Ditto to the Exterminator. They know what they are doing.

The exterminator is a good idea. I call them for major infestations of any creepy crawly. For us it is usually massive anthills.

Alternately, de-spider and then put a few cats down in the den. They'll be entertained for days...and you won't have any spiders left.

Eeeps! Let us know what you decide to do. I'm really curious.

Blech! I would second, third, fourth, whatever number of recommendation we are on, the exterminator. We have a "spider barrier" put on our house, it's a spray that Scott's Lawns does for us every year.
