I want to repaint and redo the guest room. This was the room we were going to use as a nursery but since everything I just want a change in there. I was thinking yellow and gray? Yellow walls with gray through? Pinterest at this point is all I have haha

Yellow is my favorite color, but if you use it on the walls, do be careful. My yellow bathroom is kind of terrifyingly bright.Julia - legislative process lover and general government nerd, married to a PICU & Medical Ethics attending, raising a toddler son and expecting a baby daughter Oct '16.

We have a yellow bedroom. At first I liked it, because it brightened up the space. Even though it's not a bright yellow, it's still yellow... And I'm tired of it. Our decorator said to lose the "yellow room," "blue room," "green room," and just do neutral colors. Yellow has been hard to match furnishings to.married to an anesthesia attending

Pahaha ST!
Most of the rooms in our townhouse were painted a light yellow - I think it was called cornmeal, actually. It seemed like a neutral color to me because of how light it was and it matched just about everything. We accented with brighter colors downstairs (bright blues, greens, etc) and with warmer colors upstairs (browns, deep reds, etc) and it all went together well.Wife of a surgical fellow; Mom to a busy toddler girl and 5 furballs (2 cats, 3 dogs)
