Washing dishes after unpacking

Paper products have a shit ton of chemicals.

We washed them before the dishes went into the boxes, and did not wash them when we took them out.

I wash everything when we move, as it comes out of the box (this does not include our clothing, but does include every piece of bedding in our house. I'm crazy like that.

I pack my own and rewash them...incidentally, I would also never use a fork that had been on the table.

Oh Deebs, I can top you... I wash the bedding. Dishes, clothes, wipe down furniture, the whole 9 yards.

I think I'm better off throwing everything out and replacing it.

I wash the dishes through the dishwasher (usually just run a sani-cycle without detergent)
I pack our clothes etc.. bedding in vacuum sealed bags, so I try not to rewash them, but often my OCD takes over and I wash them again.
I also wash everything after we travel, regardless if it was worn or not.
