  • If you could be on any HGTV show which would you pick?

I'm such a love it or list it junkie. Hillary is brilliant, and I'm always amazed by her reveals! I cringe at all the structure issues they discover in the old homes. I shudder to think what she would find in our 90 year old home.

I would be the love it spouse, and DH would be the list it spouse. It's interesting watching the different ways couples interact under the stress of a major renovation.

My must haves for Hillary would be, a finished basement (ours is currently wet) a master bedroom closet, opening our kitchen to the dining room, an attached garage and making our three season room a four season room.

We're a block from school (and my job) and 2 blocks from the hospital. I think as the kids get older and more committed to after school activities this location will be a dream. They can walk back in forth, or I can pop down and back in 5 minutes tops. We have no serious lawn commitments.

DH is worried that we'll outgrow the space (2700 sf) as the kids get bigger. He wants a back yard with a grill and more space to entertain...someday. He wants a home office. He works at the dining table right now.

I'm love the property brothers and rehab addict.

Sign me up for The High Low Project! For nearly every room in our house. We moved into a larger-than-average house with a tiny apartment's worth of furniture and four months later I have decision fatigue and still more than half our rooms echo they're so empty.

Currently I don't watch too many of the HGTV shows, but of the ones I do watch, I think I might choose Property Brothers. They seem to be experts at the mix of real estate I always hypothetically think I'd want: purchasing something well below our budget so we could turn it into whatever we wanted as opposed to maxing out our budget on something that *almost* fits the bill. They seem to teach this lesson and their work is beautiful!

          Property brothers.

If I already owned a house (and could live in Toronto), maybe love it or list it.

It is on hgtv, not sure if it's also on DIY.

Oh but I also LOVE rehab addict. I so want her to renovate (or restore I guess) a house for us if we have to stay here.

Income Property! Not because I really want to be a landlord, but because I love Scott Mcgillivray! He is so knowledgeable about home renos and funny and cute, to boot.

I also like Property Brothers and Love it or List it. For us right now, Property Brothers would probably be the most relevant.

That's one of the few shows I intensely dislike. Her info is frequently flat-out wrong and it drives me BSC.

Ha. I think she does an amazing job. The description if the work is so brief, it makes no difference to me. I just really like the end results. But just my opinion.

We just started watching rehab addict.

Tonight I'll be on ANY show that comes in and remodels my kitchen/powder room without the headaches of having to hire the contractors myself.

Oh yes! DH LOVES him and is positive he would pretty much have to redo our entire house!
